Network Optimisation

We empowered Kamadjaja Logistics Group, a 3PL with a fleet of over 15,000 trucks, to cut a third of their operational costs by optimising co-shipping and total mileage.

Getting started

Following a project scoping workshop, we deployed a team of data engineers and data scientists to implement a proof-of-concept deployment of ClearConex’s Falco module.

This involved the integration and standardisation of multiple data sources, and the installation of modules aimed at optimising packing and routing to reduce total mileage across seven business units. Over the course of two multi-week sprints, our team worked in conjunction with Kamadjaja’s CIO and operations team to demonstrate the tangible business benefits of the ClearConex platform.

Objective 1:
Reducing mileage

During the initial product sprint, our team identified an opportunity to drive significant efficiency improvements to Kamadjaja’s route planning. The results were significant, with an average mileage reduction of 35%.

Objective 2:
Co-shipping

To take it one step further, we deployed a co-shipping module to optimise truck packing, which resulted in a further mileage reduction of on average 32% while reducing their fleet size by up to two-thirds.
